What is the Right Answer?

Many of the people I see are stuck.  They want to feel movement, feel as if they matter, that they have a direction and purpose.

Some say they want a connection like mine.  As is a connection like mine is the answer to all problems.  They want to be psychic, be able to "move energy", be able to "heal" people"  When I talk to some, what they really want is verification they are making the "right" the "best" choices in their life.  Its is if they think being psychic will give them a leg up, a helping hand, the advantage.

So, why do people get stuck?  People get stuck because they are afraid.  They so want to hedge their bets  so they make the right answer they research through google learning everything they can, talk to friends and experts.  And because their focus is not on them, but on what it outside of them they can not find their way to an answer.  In truth these folks do not trust themselves.  But worse they do not trust life.  And when you do not trust life, life can not give to you.

Instead of trying to figure out what you should do, sit with yourself long enough so that you can feel yourself again.  Once you are reconnected to the place with in yourself that is pure you  than what is the "best" thing to do you will be drawn in to you.

Spiritual People vs the Truly Spiritual

Most people come to spirituality out of pain.  They can not seem to find what they need from another, or in a bottle or through money.  The only option, they realize eventually  is to give up all distraction and go to their Source.

The "spiritual" seek to alleviate discomfort, depression, anxiety.  They discover a relationship with the divine gives them comfort and in some cases healing.  But then the pain seems to go away and they return to living their life as they have always.  They breath easier for a while, until the next mishap and then they become "spiritual" again.  They return to church, mediation or their healer.  This back and fourth can go on for a while if not a lifetime.

The " truly spiritual" seek out a more magical and connected experience of life because the relationship, the discovery gives them pleasure and fulfilment.  These folks are not trying to fix anything, instead they desire to feel more well, more whole, more... These folks have a daily practice that assist them to live spiritual.  They are part of spiritual communities in which they are out about their spiritual lives and have friendships that support their spiritual efforts.  These folks tend to get "further" than the others since they are not seeking out God to get them through life, but rather make God part of their life if not the very focus of their lives.

Your Attention

Attention is everything.  Attention gives you your wellness, your health, your prosperity.

Recently I was introduced to some devices with amazing healing properties.  "This" I was told, "was the answer". In truth it was powerful, but what I noticed is it worked much more effectively when the user held their attention on an object.   So many people run from the next best thing to the next better thing seeking answers in techniques and objects.  They are seeking wellness outside of themselves, trying not to pay attention to the very thing that can produce for them- their attention!

Consider that all of life is made from the fabric of the universe love.  Everything, is made from love.  But, how was it made?  How did God take love and make eggplant, a planet, a dog?   He/she/it did it through attention. God created the universe, i believe from love using his/her/its attention.  And when they say we are made in God's image, I believe they mean we have the same gift of attention that God does.  We can create our world the same way God created this world from our attention

So, my fiends what are you paying attention to? What world will you create for yourself?

Avoid Disapointment By Listening to Who People Are

People show up as who they are.  It is our job to listen to who they are and act accordingly.

So many of my clients come wanting a person to be different then they are. They are surprised that the person lies,  cheats, fibs, etc. They are angry, disappointed and feel they may have a hard time trusting in the future. But, when I get clients to think of their first meeting with the person in question, their is evidence that the person cheats, lies, fibs, etc.

Think about it, if you are frustrated that your friend is irresponsible, was he/she irresponsible when you first met him/her.  Did the person you are angry with for being two faced, did he/she make their proclivities for gossip known when you first met them?

People show up how they are.  The key is to listen to who he/she is, instead of pretending he/she is something else.  Why do people choose to fool themselves into believing something about a person that he/she knows is not true?  People want others to fit into their plans, their idea of their own future.  This helps the believer to feel safe, hopeful but in truth contributes to hopelessness.

Listen to who people are by lisening to who they are, rather than who you would like them to be.

Stop!

Most people refuse to stop.  They refuse to stop and consider they are on automatic.  Complaining about food, the weather, the job.  Stop!  Most time when people talk - they complain.  In fact, do an experiment, next time you are approached for a conversation listen, in most cases if you listen long enough you will soon hear a complaint.  We are trained to complain.

You can measure how alive someone is by how long it takes he/she to complain.

Someone once said, "If you can not add to the silence- say nothing."

Consider setting your watch to go off periodically so you can catch yourself complaining and train yourself to Stop!
