Loving Yourself Into Change

Why do people make such huge strides in their lives and then return to their previous condition?  We have known many people who have lost weight and gained it back. Maybe because although they changed how they appear, they did not alter their frequency.

You can in the short term change your circumstances through goal orientated action, to do lists and through accountability structures.  But, life changes will not hold unless you have loved yourself into the change.

If you loose weight so that you will be less disgusted with yourself, to fit in, to look better or get revenge on a an X you will return to your previous condition.  You must love yourself into the change.

How do you find love for yourself?  Pray to love yourself more and practice loving yourself.  Be nice to you the way a good friend would be nice to you.  Practice receiving your own love.

The other day, I was at the gym and I did not want to stretch.  I don't like to stretch.  I ask myself do I love myself enough to stretch?   Do I love myself enough to take time for myself?  Do I love myself enough to make myself feel good?  I did and I stretched.

My suggestion is to ask yourself when you are confronted by the distraction that takes you off your path, "Do I yourself enough to......"
