"Who heals me?" ask a potential client. "The healing is done by God" I say.
Yes, I am a spiritual/theta healer, but it is not me doing the healing.
I explain I have learned a methods to assist me connect to higher realms so I can more easily dig out the root causes of a malady or dysfunction, but is not me with the healing powers.
The Creator is the healer; I bring my attention, intention and love and BOOM a healing happens or it does not.
"Can you heal me?" ask the potential client. "Don't know, it is not me doing the healing."
I hear these questions a lot- there are a lot of people who have suffered a bunch who are so desperate for a solution. They want a promise, even if they know deep inside it is a false or inflated promise.
"How long do you think it will take to heal me?" The potential client is asking the same question, but differently. I find my composure and my compassion and explain as directly as possible, "I am not the healer, God is."

Depression is an illness that involves the body, mood, and thoughts. Depression affects a person's whole life. A person's self esteem and outlook on life is impacted by depression. Depression is different than a mood caused by a event. Depression is an overall state that drags a person into malaise, inaction and fatigue.
Here is video to help you recognize signs/symptoms of depression.
As a spiritual and theta healer, I have had many people come to me with depression. Some are in great pain, while others are so numb they can not feel anything. All however, are irritated by their condition. Some have the diagnoses of depression while others have been told they are bipolar, have an anxiety disorder, are a multiple personality or are just a "normal person" going through a rough patch. In truth, I think most people are depressed.
Many people who are depressed have tried many therapies, seen countless doctors and tried supplements with some or little result. Many have been blamed for their own condition and so have learned to hide their malaise and isolate. Many are confused about what to do next and are afraid to tell people about their depression for fear of judgement. They are wary of the next therapy with over inflated promises.
Healing Depression Spiritually Through Theta Healing
The cause of a person's depression can be as unique as the person. Depression has several components:
1. Mental- the way someone thinks and therefore perceives their circumstances.
2. Energetic- a person's field is set up to receive, hold and disperse energy.
3. Physical- neurotransmitter cells in the body are set up to receive, hold and share information with the rest of the body.
Being intuitive helps reveal the information at the root of the depression. By accessing the energetic body of a person new connections can be made in the brain to encourage nuero-transmiter cells to create more resourceful connections consistent with a more positive mood. Also, by clearing the energetic field of ruminated thoughts, regrouping the grounding system, re-aligning the energetic blueprint can shift a person almost immediately out a dark place. Unearthing and clearing core negative beliefs, like: " I am not worthwhile." ; "Life is empty and meaningless" ;"I don't belong anywhere" can get to the root of depression and finally lift its weight.
The work of clearing depression may not be over when the session is over. Since some people have been in the habit of depression for a long time, they need to train their body, mind and energetic field to hold a new energy and outlook. I teach clients how to keep their fields clear of other people's energy because in many cases depressed people are sensitive people who have been overloaded with other people's negative thoughts and feelings. I teach clients to "reboot" their field energetically by "going to a place in the Universe to refuel their field with positive, strong and stable energy.
What Former Depressed People are Saying
Generally clients report feeling better a few minutes into the session. I am glad to tell you the results last. Here is what two clients have said:
"For the past 25 years, I have been struggling with anxiety, depression and chronic pain. Overwhelmed by the severity of my struggles I sought help from various physicians, therapists, and ecclesiastical advisors. While some of my symptoms where managed for a time under their care, I still struggled. In my work with Colby, I came to experience my spirit healing my body and mind. A remarkable transformation has occurred. For the first time in my life I have hope. I have become acquainted with the beauty that is my higher self. The holes in my soul caused by tragedy and grief have been healed. I am overflowing with love and strength."

There was quite a shift after our session. There is a new person walking around in my body. My mind is not consumed with worries, instead I am able to put my attention on what I would like to happen. I am back in the space I used to be in where I was able to watch life unfold intentionally.

In addition to classes and in person and phone sessions, Colby offers free weekly healings through his website: www.HealThroughSpirit.com
"Huh?" "How does that work?" I hear that a lot when I introduce myself at a party to people as a spiritual healer.
I repeat to them, "I am a spiritual healer. I assist people to heal emotionally and physically through the energetic/spiritual body."
In truth, I do not know how I do what I do. How can I? It is not me doing the healing. Those spiritual/energy healers who try to explain what they do are using words to explain something otherworldly and thus something that can not be explained through language.
Yes, I do have a system to the healing I get to do.
I am firmly grounded in the world of Theta Healing. I sit in front of someone. They have come to me with a concern. I pray and shift my brain waves. I access higher realms and ask what the block or solution is that would allow the person in front of me greater freedom/success/prosperity. Sometimes a belief needs to be changed, a feeling needs to expressed or downloaded, an energetic structures needs to be put back in alignment, etc.
What happens then I can not explain. Energy moves. I ask questions. I tell clients what I see. Sometimes clients cry, sometimes they laugh, sometimes they see and experience other realities. Sometimes there is a lot of white light that comes in the room and is so intense it feels wonderfully blinding.

Sometimes, a healing occurs without having the client do anything. I go into Theta and ask God to heal the client and he/she heals. But other times, in order to be healed the client must confront what has kept them sick/stuck.
Illness is sometimes the result of unexpressed emotions and lies about life or self. In this case, in order for illness to be cleared unexpressed emotions and lies need to be brought forward, examined and expressed.
At first clients are scared thinking if they go into the emotional pain they will be swallowed whole. So. I have them go in a little and come out again and again to show and prove to them they can handle the vastness of what seems never ending. They unwind years and sometimes lifetimes of pain. Clients can see colors, scenes of devastation and feel deep pain. This is not traumatizing. In fact, clients report in many cases it feels like pain, but not their pain. Eventually they get to a what seems like the bottom of what is holding the illness and the healing occurs.

As a spiritual healer people come to see me to have a miracle. At first the pressure to make a healing happen was incredible. But the more I got out of the way and let the Creator do the more the miraculous would occur.
As someone who has worked to give himself a creative and intellectual outlet, spiritual healing offers neither. I am not doing anything creative or with my intellect, other than: being empty, intending someone be healed, keeping my attention on the healing and love the person/s in front of me.
I am so delighted when someone unwraps in front of me and rediscovers their true nature. It really is awe inspiring. And with each healing, my need to be or do anything lessens.
So how come some people get a miracle and others do not? Am I, the healer not following protocol? Did I do something wrong? I don't claim to understand what I do, since I am not doing it. In fact, am I really talking to God, your guides your Higher Self. Honestly, I don't know. What I do know is I get information that seems helpful and accurate and people get healed.
Much of what being a spiritual healer has taught me is to let go of who I think I am and what I think I need.
